Nominations for UK and Global TRI Awards now open

The UK TRI Awards – returning for its 17th year – is the only awards programme that rewards leaders from across the turnaround, restructuring and insolvency, and follows a year in which insolvencies rose to the highest level in 30 years in England and Wales. And, if the January figures are anything to go by, this is only going to ratchet up – with some predicting as many as 33,000 could take place in 2024.  

In this climate, it’s never been more important to come together to celebrate the incredible work of those in the profession and share best practice in what could be the busiest year the industry has seen for well over a decade.  

The awards itself will be taking place this November in London, with previous winners including PwC, Interpath, Howard Kennedy, Alvarez & Marsal and EY-Parthenon.   

Across the awards programme, the event will celebrate the industry’s finest turnaround professional through the Turnaround Practitioner of the Year Award, recognise the insolvency sector’s top team through the Insolvency Team of the Year and reward restructuring’s best in class through, among other awards, the Corporate Restructuring IP of the Year.

The evening will also see us celebrate leading TRI professionals across four jurisdictions – namely in the Americas, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the UK, and the Middle-East and North Africa – in the form of the third annual Global TRI Awards, supported by Nexia.  

It comes during a period of immense global uncertainty, with conflicts in both Europe and the Middle East putting a strain on businesses who are only just recovering from the financial hit the global economy took during the Covid pandemic, the global insolvency industry will be playing a huge role in the years to come.
