TRI Awards 2020 to showcase sustainability and business continuity

Two new categories are being introduced to this year’s TRI Awards programme, including one recognising the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on the industry: the TRI Company Award for Business Continuity.

It’s an unprecedented and uncertain time for businesses everywhere, and those in the TRI space are no different, having to change the way they work to continue serving their clients.

This category is in recognition of TRI firms which displayed great agility in ensuring service levels to clients remained high, demonstrated leadership to adapt their business, while keeping staff and clients and all stakeholders safe. It also recognises exceptional and efficient communication with staff, innovative approaches to advisory services and CSR activity during the outbreak.

The second new category is TRI Company Award for Sustainability.

This category highlights work businesses across the TRI space have undertaken to improve their impact on the environment through strong leadership, policies, effective communication both internally and externally, with demonstrable outcomes of sustainability activity for a local community, region or wider geographic area.

All 2019 categories are returning, including Corporate Rescue of the Year, International Firm of the Year, TRI Employer of the Year and the TRI Company Award for Diversity and Inclusion, ensuring the entire TRI spectrum is covered.

An award in any of these categories has always played a vital role in recognising best practice in the profession, but in these unprecedented and uncertain times, they take on extra significance.

The awards will take place at the Hilton London Bankside hotel on December 3, 2020, following the TRI Conference, sponsored by Manolete Partners, earlier the same day.
