David Kerr

David is a licensed insolvency practitioner with a background in regulation. His practice experience was gained working in insolvency firms large and small throughout the UK. He served as chief executive of the IPA for ten years, was first secretary to the Joint Insolvency Committee (the profession-wide standards-setting forum) and company secretary of the Joint Insolvency Monitoring Unit, and has played a key role in developing and maintaining professional standards in the insolvency sector. He now sits on the CICM’s national Technical Committee, and serves as a consultative board member for LexisNexis Restructuring & Insolvency. David runs his own consultant business advising on insolvency regulation and related matters.
