All the fashion brand’s stores are expected to have shut by the end of Tuesday, putting more than 500 jobs at risk.
According to Sky News, the move follows growing doubts over a future licensing partnership between Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group and Ted Baker owner Authentic stalled – just three months after it appeared an agreement was imminent.
The news comes five months after the firm behind Ted Baker – No Ordinary Designer Label – fell into administration, with Authentic saying at the time that the “damage done” during a tie-up with another firm was “too much to overcome”.
