ReSolve welcomes a new partner to the practice

Boutique business advisory restructuring and investment practice ReSolve has welcomed Andrew Pepper as a new partner at the practice.

He has more than three decades’ worth of experience in roles across the restructuring and turnaround sector, including at BDO and Hilco Capital. Pepper has most recently been a chief executive officer at a UK family office and has acted as chief restructuring officer for several large businesses.

Additionally, he has held the role of president of the Turnaround Management Association. Over the years in the industry, he has acted for a number of household names including House of Fraser, Jessops, Woolworths and HMV - but he has a particular interest in saving and improving mid-market stressed firms before they hit the point of “no return”.

At ReSolve, Pepper’s focus will be on preserving and increasing enterprise value on behalf of the firm’s clients in a variety of enterprising and innovative ways, bringing with him his experience in previous roles as an advisor, chairman, investor and lender.

Pepper said: “After several years working directly with a large and diverse mix of UK enterprises, I am pleased to be joining ReSolve and focusing my efforts towards the wide range of mid-market businesses which form the backbone of the UK economy.”

ReSolve senior partner Cameron Gunn added: “We are delighted that Andrew is joining our team at ReSolve and are excited about the vast knowledge and experience he brings with him.

“This is a perfect time for Andrew to join us and offer his services to our clients as there has never been a more uncertain and challenging time for UK businesses. Andrew’s experience supporting companies through turnarounds and restructurings will be invaluable to our clients.”
