Tony Groom is a hands-on turnaround investor and manager of struggling and financially constrained SMEs with significant growth potential. Tony’s current activities include Magnasense/Aegirbio a North European Nasdaq listed drugs testing company, Metapraxis a US and European provider of financial planning, analysis, and reporting services, MPS Concrete Solutions a waterproof concrete repairer, Exmoor Beers a branded real ale distributor, Tokenbridge an integrated blockchain solution for investors, token issuers and distributors, Build Homes Better a manufacturer and distributer of insulated walling and foundation products for building houses, Viper Guard a distributor of vehicle and industrial components and Kickstart PR & Marketing a provider of marketing services. 

Tony has been involved with turnarounds and restructuring for over thirty years dealing with viability and strategy, developing turnaround and growth implementation plans and overseeing financial restructuring, cash management, operational reorganisation and business improvement initiatives. After serving as a Captain in the British Army, Tony went to London Business School in 1989 and subsequently Lincoln University where he studied for a doctorate researching the decision making of directors in a crisis. A founder director and Past President of the Turnaround Management Association UK, he is a Fellow of the European Association of Certified Turnaround Practitioners and is a Trustee of the Marketing Trust that funds marketing training and research.
